The tanks 2,4,6,7,8 & 12 of the Escravos Tank Farm were being upgraded to replace the fixed roof or single deck floating roof with a double deck floating roof.

The scope of work covered by PetroPlat was the simulation and sizing of the fire water network for the tanks in scope as well as the hydraulic analysis. To accomplish this, all fire water and foam network were modelled. The firewater and foam hydraulics analysis simulation was performed using the latest version of PipeNet software. The analysis included:
