Founder & Managing Director | Process & Technical Safety Consultant
With over 30 years of international experience in process engineering, technical safety, and risk management, Ahmad Emadi has led the successful delivery of complex onshore and offshore energy projects across Australia, Nigeria, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
As the Founder and Managing Director of PetroPlat, he provides strategic leadership and technical direction, driving the company’s commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and client success. A Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE) and a Chartered Chemical Engineer (CEng), Ahmad is widely recognized for his expertise in Process Safety Engineering, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, QRA, Fire & Explosion Risk Analysis, and Process Design.
Throughout his distinguished career, Ahmad has held senior engineering positions with globally renowned organizations, including Worley, KBR, Jacobs, Wood Group, Technip, Hyundai Engineering, and Uhde. He has successfully led multidisciplinary engineering teams on major capital projects for leading operators such as Shell, TotalEnergies, Chevron, ExxonMobil, SPDC, BP, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and Arrow Energy.
Under his leadership, PetroPlat has earned a reputation for delivering technically sound, safe, and innovative engineering solutions that enable clients to execute projects with confidence, achieve operational excellence, and create sustainable value.
