OML100 fields are developed with a central complex comprising of a process platform (Odudu Production Platform 1) bridged to Odudu wellhead platform (ODD1). Three unmanned satellite platforms AFD1, IMD1 and EDD1 for Afia, Ime and Edikan respectively are tied back to the central complex for final crude stabilization. Afia and Ime are closest to Odudu at 2.5 and 3.5km respectively, while Edikan is further at 10km.

All the four OML100 fields are activated by gas lift, with all the gas lift gas and associated gas (AG) on the three satellites flared after first stage vapor/liquid separation, and the liquids (oil + water) exported by single phase pumping to Odudu. Gross liquids are exported to FSO Unity terminal located 4km from ODP1 where oil/water separation is achieved before final oil export. The water is treated to the required specification and discharged overboard. The residual gas flashed at the atmospheric separator (1 bar) is flared at ODP1.

Today gas is brought from Amenam (AMP1) to provide Fuel Gas to both Odudu (ODP1) and the FSO Unity, as well as supplementary gas lift gas for Afia and Ime. Gas from the Odudu oil production wells recovered at ODP1 is compressed and partly consumed as fuel and partly used for gas-lifting wells on Afia, Ime and Odudu. Odudu gas producer well ODD13 can also provide additional gas if required. Gas is sent to AFD1 and IMD1 via 4” subsea gas lines from ODD1, while Edikan’s gas lift gas is provided by a single gas producer well (EDN-16) and thus not connected to the Odudu gas lift network. Today the total routine flaring on OML100 is circa ~340kSm3/d
