This 1-day, foundation level course for engineers reviews the key areas associated with the pipe sizing and for oil and gas facilities. The course is focused on four areas: codes and standards, line sizing, pipe materials and piping components. Applicable piping codes for oil and gas facilities (ISO, B31.3, API 14E, etc.), pipe sizing calculations, and materials selection are an integral part of the course. The emphasis is on line sizing calculation for liquid, gas and mixed phases and specification of piping systems.
