Client: SPDC/Ariosh

Location: Gbaran-Ubie.

DESCRIPTION

The Gbaran Integrated Oil and Gas node, situated in the seasonal fresh-water swamp, covers an area approximately 3,000 km2 spread across Bayelsa, Rivers and Imo states in the eastern part of the Niger Delta. The Gbaran Central Processing Facility (CPF) came on stream in year 2010 with a gas production capacity of 1.0Bscfd and liquid production capacity of 120 Mbpd. Uzu is a greenfield, 15km Noth-East of Gbaran CPF. It is located in OML 28.

This project scope covered infill drilling which included 5 wells with flowlines and a bulk line from the Uzu field. Also, it involved a facility upgrade at the Gbaran Central Processing Facility, involving installation of a 200MMscfd TEG dehydration train and the ancillary units, including Brownfield tie-ins

The scope of work covered by PetroPlat includes the Flow Assurance Study associated with the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies for the Gbaran Phase 3 – Uzu with CPF Upgrade Project. It required the study of the operation of two Non-Associated Gas (NAG) pipelines during both steady and transitional mode.
