Falcon Corporation Limited identified a unique opportunity to build and operate a 10,000 MT capacity (scalable to 15,000 MT) Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage plant with a dedicated jetty in Port‐Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The Project comprises an LPG Depot to receive, store and load out LPG by constructing 2 no.s x 5,000 MT capacity spherical. The Project is sited on 122,977.47 sqm of land, located at Saipem Aker Base Road, Rumuolumeni, Obior Akpor LGA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. 

The Project aims to address the current storage and distribution gap of LPG in Nigeria, as well as deepen LGP utilization within the South‐South, South‐East, and Northern parts of Nigeria.  The facilities shall be equipped to receive LPG transported by sea vessels using marine unloading systems at the berthing jetty. LPG will be discharged into the constructed spherical tanks from the new jetty at a design rate via a fixed pipeline to be constructed. A vapor return pipeline will also run parallel to the discharge pipeline from the jetty to the tank farm. The LPG facilities shall be equipped with all the necessary safety systems including the main buildings in the Depot which entail the security houses, office building & control room, technical building, fire pump building, truck loading bay, LPG pump building, etc.
