The proposed project which comprises of an approximately 10” by 6.5km pipeline and a city gate station is located in Lagos Free Zone. There is an existing 20” Future Tie-in Blind Flange at Dangote Gas Pipeline which took off from NGPTC Escravos to Lagos Pipeline System (ELPS). The Tie-in point shall be used to supply gas to the new pipeline and a proposed City Gate Station (PRMS). Pigging Facilities are also provided to enable pigging of the pipeline.
The CGS PRMS shall comprise two (2) 100% capacity identical streams of gas treating equipment which will condition the gas before being distributed to various customers within Lagos Free Zone. The two identical streams are equipped with isolation valves arranged in a manner that permits independent maintenance of the process streams.
The city gate station (PRMS) comprises of a condensate vessel downstream of the pig receiver which is used to collect liquid condensate during pigging. The gas received during normal process passes through an inlet gas scrubber, where any entrained liquid droplets will be scrubbed before passing into a 2×100 Inlet Filter Separators for further small particles and droplets separation. The gas is heated in 2×100% water bath heaters before being metered and passed through a series of pressure regulators. The conditioned gas is then distributed through a common outlet line for individual customers.
