As part of the Risk Analysis process detailed in international standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) tools such as Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) are used to identify potential undesirable events that could lead to hazardous scenarios or operability problems within a process. In the HAZOP study, an interdisciplinary team uses a creative, systematic approach to identify hazard and operability problems resulting from deviations from the processes’ design intent that could lead to undesirable consequence. This webinar is aimed at providing the basics of HAZOP study technique, its outcome and to perform/review HAZOP report.
