Title: OML100 Flare Reduction Project – Dropped Object Study

Client: Total Energies / IESL Doris

Location: OML 100 – Delta

Date: Ongoing

description

OML 100 Flare Reduction Project is aimed at gas flare reduction. This project entails routing piping and new process equipment which may be negatively impacted upon during hoisting activities. The new PSV’s, Flare ignition System and other new equipment to be installed will be under the crane radius during hoisting activities and should be adequately protected from impact of falling loads, necessitating a Dropped Object Safety Study.

Dropped Object Study

A dropped object study to determine the reasonable protections required for the PSVs, flare ignition systems and any other incoming equipment/pipes to be installed in the platforms against potential dropped object and swinging loads during the installation sequence.

  1. An Assumption Register.
  2. A Dropped Object Study Report.
