Structural transport Analysis

The transportation loads in the cargo and on the seafastening are calculated using the spectral structural analysis approach. When compared to traditional structural transport analysis, this method removes a lot of conservatism. Instead of combining the maximum found accelerations in distinct load scenarios to cover all potential combinations of the reported extremes, the motion and accelerations are resolved in the model’s structural joints. This method eliminates the necessity to combine severe accelerations that will not occur in real sense.

The SACS-MOSES transportation analysis involves six steps although alternative workflows may be also possible.
